Should probably edit it, oh well.
Anyways, it's Katniss (the girl) and Peeta (the boy) from the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins! Excellent book - trust me I thought I would hate it, but obviously I don't - so I suggest people read it! If you haven't read the book, I ain't telling you anything, and if you have, well this is them before an interview, but I can't tell you before which interview... spoilers people, spoilers. But anywho, I totally :heart: Peeta, he's really cute, and I think his intentions are good. And Katniss just kicks ass.

EDIT April 20th, 2009: So since so many people have seemed to like adore this picture, I'm gonna fix it up! Look for that soon. And I'll be doing a slew more things for HG too.

It's is seriously beautiful. It looks as if you've really put a great deal of effort into making their outfits accurate, which I applaud because it's no easy task when they're described so beautifully in the book. You really did them justice.

The shading and coloring are lovely, especially Katniss' hair-- it's so layered and beautiful and realistic. I also love her makeup and the pose you put them in. Very nice.

No, trying to draw things that have been described so well is hard. But I try. Well she wrote that Katniss' chest was being enhanced via her clothing, and that it was strapless... hence I thought it looked like this.

Thank you! :heart: Yeah, I thought yellow/orange make-up fit the girl on fire pretty nicely. :) And as I said, hair is one of my favourite things to colour.

haha, didn't I say that it was difficult to draw things described so wonderfully? If not, I meant to, sorry about that.
Yeah, I remember some of those details as well, and I think you've got the look of the dress almost perfect!

You thought right! Well, your enjoyment for coloring hair has obviously rewarded you with great skill in the area.
